Proportion,
not mass.

Sagoma works out what twelve weeks of honest training actually buys you, tells you that number before you start, and then measures whether it delivered.

How it decides

  • Day 1–14

It starts with a formula, then throws it away.

Every calorie equation is a population average pointed at one person. Sagoma seeds your target from one, then replaces it with the number your own weight trend and logged intake say is actually true. After a fortnight the formula is gone and you are being coached on your own data.

  • Hard floor

Five per cent for men. Twelve for women.

Below that it stops. It will not write a water cut, a 48-hour dehydration, or a peak week, at any body fat. Ask it to and it declines and names the line you tried to cross. These floors are not a setting, and there is no override.

  • On device

Encrypted before it leaves your phone.

Your logs, weights and progress photos are sealed with a key derived from your passphrase, and that passphrase never reaches our servers. We cannot read your data. The honest consequence: if you lose the passphrase, we cannot recover it for you either.

The number nobody quotes

Twelve weeks, trained well and fed properly, buys most people 2–3 lb of lean mass and a 4–6 point drop in body fat. In a t-shirt that is a visibly different person. It is not a different body — and anything selling you one is selling you something.

Where those numbers come from

Built to be boring about the parts that matter.

Adaptive targets, hard safety floors, and a coach that will tell you no. Sagoma is on the App Store.
