Sagoma is not medical advice

Sagoma is a fitness and nutrition tool. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and nothing it produces is a substitute for advice from a qualified clinician. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are taking medication, or have a history of disordered eating, talk to a professional before changing how you train or eat.

Who may use it

You must be eighteen or older. You confirm this when you create an account, and supplying a false confirmation is a breach of these terms.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password and your encryption passphrase safe. They are different things and they do different jobs: the password signs you in, and the passphrase unlocks your data.

We can reset your password. Nobody can reset your passphrase — not you, not us. If it is lost, the encrypted history it protects is unrecoverable. Store it somewhere you trust, such as a password manager.

Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed through the Apple App Store under Apple's terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you cancel through your App Store account rather than through us. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policy.

If we change the price of a plan you are on, you will be told before it applies and you can cancel.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to bypass the safety floors or the plan validator.
• Do not share your account, or resell access to it.
• Do not probe, scrape, or attack the service, or try to reach another user's data.
• Do not use Sagoma to coach anyone else clinically or commercially.

We may suspend an account that breaches these, and we will tell you why.

What we do not promise

Sagoma gives estimates. Estimates are wrong sometimes, particularly early in a block before your own data has replaced the starting formula. Results vary between people for reasons no app can see. We provide the service as it is, without a warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce a particular outcome for you.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Whitetowers Group is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Sagoma, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app, which erases your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may end your access if you materially breach these terms, and we will give you notice and a chance to export your data unless doing so would be unlawful or unsafe.

Changes

If we change these terms materially, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Sagoma after that means you accept the new version.
