For trainers

Your whole practice, from the phone in your pocket.

Sagoma Pro is a native iPhone and iPad app for personal trainers. Not a companion to a web dashboard — there is no web dashboard. Everything it does, it does standing on the gym floor between somebody's sets.

Everything works on both. Not most of it.

The rest of this category is a browser dashboard where the real work happens, plus a phone app that shows you a subset of it. You already know which half you are holding when a client stops you mid-session to ask about their week.

Pro is one app that runs on iPhone and iPad. Mint an invitation, read a check-in, send a training block, prescribe targets, review a progress photo, revoke a relationship — every one of those is the same screen on a 6.1 inch phone as it is on a 13 inch iPad. There is no cut-down mobile version to be missing something, because there is no second version at all.

Why we can say that flatly

It is one universal build with no device branch in it. A feature cannot be quietly absent on the phone, because there is no code path where it could go missing — the phone and the tablet are running the same screens.

The trade

There is no browser version, and that is the point.

Your clients' data is sealed to keys that exist only on your device and theirs. We hold ciphertext and routing information — who may send what to whom — and nothing else. We cannot read a check-in, a photo, or a weight, and that is a property of how it is built rather than a policy we are promising to keep.

A web dashboard would end that. To decrypt your roster in a browser tab we would have to hand the browser the keys, which means holding them, which means "we could look but we don't" — the same sentence every other platform in this market is already saying. So the app holds the keys, and the app has to be able to do the whole job.

The honest cost

You work from an iPhone or an iPad. There is no desktop client and no browser login, and if you lose your device and your recovery code together, what was sent to you is unreadable. Pro makes you record that code before it will let you invite anybody.

What it takes off you

I cannot read my clients' data, so I cannot leak it.

Progress photos, body weight and injury history are health data, and holding a pile of it on a laptop or in somebody's cloud folder is a liability you are carrying personally. Under UK and EU rules that category is the most tightly regulated one there is.

With Pro there is no readable pile. Each client's material is sealed to you individually, it is decrypted only while you are looking at it, and when they revoke a category the flow stops at our server rather than relying on you to delete anything.

What is in it today

All of this is built and running against the live service. Nothing on this page is a roadmap item.

  • Your roster

Every client, their status, when they last replied, and exactly which categories of their data they have let you see. Unread replies carry a marker so the list tells you where the work is without opening anything.

  • Invitations you mint yourself

Generate a code, set how many people may redeem it and how long it lives, and hand it out. We never see a client list, because there is no directory to search — the only way into your roster is a code you issued. Revoke an unredeemed one with a swipe.

  • Send a programme, targets, a check-in or a note

A training block, a calorie and macro target, a structured check-in form with your own questions, or plain text. Each one is sealed to that client and to nobody else before it leaves your hands.

  • Read what comes back

Check-in answers, workout logs, daily nutrition against target, weigh-ins, tape measurements, progress photos and messages — whatever that client has agreed to share, decrypted on your device when you open it.

  • A grant history you can point at

Every permission a client gave you and every one they took back, with dates. When somebody asks what you hold on them, the answer is a list on screen rather than your recollection.

  • Pause or end a relationship

Ending it stops the flow both ways and is permanent. A paused client stays on your roster and sends nothing until you both resume.

What you are allowed to see

Eight switches, and the client owns all of them.

When somebody redeems your invitation they get a consent screen. Every category starts off. They turn on what they want you to have, and they can take any of it back later without ending the relationship or telling you first.

Your copy of the app only draws the buttons for the categories you actually hold, and the server refuses anything else regardless of what the app tries to send. It is enforced twice, in two places, by design.

  • Workoutssets, reps and load, as logged
  • Nutritionthe day’s totals against the target
  • Weightweigh-ins over time
  • Measurementsseven tape sites
  • Photosprogress photos, one key per photo
  • Healthwhat the watch and phone recorded
  • Check-insanswers to the forms you send
  • Messageswhat they write to you

Your clients

They install a free app. You are not selling them a subscription.

Clients use Sagoma Link, which is free and stays free. They log their training, their food, their weight, their measurements and their photos in it, they read what you send, and they answer your check-ins. There is no paywall between you and the person you are already being paid to coach.

Link is a logging app, not a rival coach — it has no AI, generates no plans and gives no advice. What appears in it comes from you. A client who later wants an automated coach can move to Sagoma itself, and that is a decision they make, not a cross-sell we run at them.

What it will cost

One flat fee. Not a fee per client.

You will pay for a seat, by the size of your practice, and that is the whole bill. Nutrition is not an add-on. Check-ins are not an add-on. Progress photos are not an add-on. Your clients' Link app is not a per-head charge, because it is free.

Prices go up when the app goes on sale, and we would rather put nothing here than a figure we might have to change. Put your address in below and you will get it in writing before anyone else does.

It is not in the App Store yet.

Pro is in TestFlight and still being built. It has not been submitted for review, it is not on sale, there is no public beta, and nobody is coaching a paying client through it yet — we are not going to pretend otherwise. If you train people for a living and this is the shape of the thing you have been waiting for, leave your address. We will write when it ships, and we would rather hear what you actually need before that happens.

If you are switching from somewhere else, the harder question is what your current platform will let you take with you. That has its own page, with the export process for the six platforms trainers leave most often.

What you work from

One email when Pro is on sale, with the pricing. Nothing else, no sharing with anyone, and a working unsubscribe link in it.
