Delete your account

Two ways to close your Sagoma account, what is erased with it, and the little that is not.

Sagoma is published by Whitetowers Group LLC. This page covers the Sagoma app on Google Play and the App Store, and applies to the account you sign in with on any of them — deleting it once deletes it everywhere.

From inside the app

Open Sagoma and go to Me. Scroll to the bottom, tap Delete Account, and confirm. The account and everything attached to it are deleted straight away; there is no waiting period and no reactivation window, which is why the app asks twice.

If you cannot open the app

Write to privacy@sagoma.app from the email address on the account and ask for it to be deleted. We act within thirty days. We will reply to the account address and nowhere else, because that is the only way we can tell it is you asking.

What is deleted

  • Your account — email address, the password verifier, the date you confirmed you are eighteen or older, and your consent records.
  • Your devices — the name and platform of each phone you signed in on, and the wrapped encryption key held for it.
  • Your content — profile and name, training and nutrition history, body measurements, progress photos and coach conversations. We hold these as ciphertext we cannot read, and deleting them removes the ciphertext.
  • Your subscription records — plan, status, renewal dates and store identifiers.

What is kept, and for how long

Everything above is erased within thirty days. Two things outlive it: records we are required to keep for tax or fraud purposes, and operational records — sign-in attempts, API request metadata and error logs — which age out on a rolling window measured in months, not years. Neither contains anything you recorded in the app.

Cancel the subscription first

Subscriptions are billed by Google Play or by Apple, never by us, so deleting your account does not stop one. Cancel it in the store that sold it — Play Store → Subscriptions, or Settings → your name → Subscriptions on an iPhone — and then delete the account.

If you only want part of it gone

You do not have to close the account to remove things from it. Individual entries can be deleted, any device can be revoked, and a consent can be withdrawn, all from inside the app. You can also export your data first. The Privacy Policy sets out what we hold and why.
