Coming from Hevy Coach

Your clients can export their own training. As their coach, we could find no way for you to export anything.

  • We could find no coach-side export at all

Hevy’s consumer app lets an individual export their own workouts and measurements as CSV from their profile. Hevy Coach’s own getting-started documentation covers clients, programmes, logging and chat, and says nothing about getting your client list out.

    Source: help.hevycoach.com and help.hevyapp.com, official; searched 2026-08-19.

  • No published portability process for coaches

Hevy is a Spanish company, so EU data-portability rights apply in principle, but the documented process does not exist. Support is hello@hevyapp.com.

  • Into Sagoma

Build the list by hand, save as CSV, import. A file with no headings at all still works — we take the first column as the name and the column with an @ in it as the email.

The three things trainers actually ask

“Do I have to message thirty people?”

No. Import your list and every one of them exists in Sagoma as a client you can programme for, log sessions against and take notes on — with nothing on their phone at all. They are a name and a history that belongs to you. Invite them when you feel like it, one at a time, or never.

The day one of them does install Sagoma Link, their history stays on the same row. Nothing is re-keyed and nothing starts over.

“How long does it take?”

Ten minutes for thirty clients, most of which is your old platform generating the file. Export from where you are now, open Sagoma Pro, tap Import a client list, pick the file. You get a preview of every name before anything is saved, and you can throw the whole thing away if it looks wrong.

We read the file your old platform hands you. We do not ask you to rename columns or fill in a template — the importer already knows what First Name, Client, Athlete, Email Address and Start Date mean, and reads the file by position if it has no headings at all.

One thing to know

We read CSV. If your export arrives as a spreadsheet, save it as CSV first — it is one menu item, and it is the only preparation there is.

“What does it cost when I get to thirty clients?”

$49 a month, or $449 a year. That is the price at five clients, at thirty, at a hundred and at four hundred. There is no next tier, there is no per-head rate, and there is no step where the number jumps because you had a good quarter.

The cliff, named

Per-client pricing is not a complaint about the price. It is a complaint about the step.

Where each platform's per-client price step falls, and how far it jumps.
PlatformWhere the step isWhat happensRise
CoachRx 5 → 6 clients $29 → $79 +172%
TrueCoach 5 → 6 clients $26.34 → $57.99 +120%
Hevy Coach — the platform this page is about10 → 11 clients $25 → $50 +100%
Everfit 20 → 21 clients $49 → $95 +94%
TrainHeroic 5 → 6 clients $17.99 → $34.99 +94%
Trainerize 30 → 31 clients $79 → $135 The nutrition add-on goes $20 → $45 in the same step.+71%

Four of those six sit at 5 → 6 or 10 → 11 — the exact moment a part-time trainer becomes a serious one. You get punished on the day the business starts working.

Sagoma has no step.

Now the part nobody else puts on their website

You can take your data out of Sagoma whenever you want. One tap, free, forever — including after you have stopped paying us.

One button in Sagoma Pro produces a zip: your Link clients, your in-person clients, everything they told you, every session, every set, everything you sent them, your repeating check-ins and your saved messages. Eight CSV files you can open in a spreadsheet, plus a JSON copy for anything that reads machines.

It is built on your device, because your clients’ data is sealed to a key our server has never held — we could not produce that file for you even if we wanted to.

It is not rationed, it is not a support ticket, and it does not stop working when your card expires. A trainer whose card just expired is exactly the trainer who most needs it.

The reason to demand export on day one is not that you want to leave. It is that the vendor may leave first.

Nudge Coach shut down on 30 April 2025. It switched off its health-app integrations on 15 April — two weeks before the shutdown — so data quietly degraded while trainers were still being told they had time. The export window closed in mid-May.

Every trainer on that platform had about six weeks to get their entire book of business out of a product that was already breaking.

That is the scenario export policy is for. Ask the question of whoever you use now, before you need the answer.

Coming from somewhere else?

What the export looks like, what it contains, and what it leaves behind — one page each, written from the vendor’s own documentation.

The ask

We are taking 25 to 50 trainers in October.

You get the app before it is public, you get the price locked, and you get me on the phone doing your import with you if you want it.

What you work from

One email when Pro is on sale, with the pricing. Nothing else, no sharing with anyone, and a working unsubscribe link in it.
