Sagoma Pro is on the Mac

The trainer app now runs natively on macOS. Same subscription, same account, nothing more to pay — and it exists because planning a week is a desk job, not a phone job.

Sagoma Pro went on sale on the Mac App Store today.

It is a native Mac app. Not an iPad app running in a window, and not Catalyst — the interface was written for the Mac, and it shares its source with the iPhone app rather than imitating it.

It is also part of the same universal purchase. If you already pay for Pro, the Mac app costs nothing more, there is nothing to buy again, and your subscription covers iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac together.

The reason it exists is that half of coaching is a desk job. Reading six clients' weeks, adjusting targets, working through check-ins and typing a considered reply are all things people do sitting down with a keyboard. Trainers were doing them on a phone because there was no alternative, not because it was better. The phone is still the right tool on the gym floor. The Mac is the right tool for the hour on a Sunday evening when you plan everybody's week.

Everything is the account you already have. Open it, sign in, and the roster is there.

Pricing has not changed and will not change for this: $49 a month or $449 a year, one seat, unlimited clients, no charge per client. Your clients carry on with Sagoma Link, which is free on iPhone and on Android.

That is the whole announcement. There is no launch offer and nothing expires.

macOS 1.0 confirmed READY_FOR_SALE against App Store Connect on 5 October 2026. The exact release date is not recoverable from the API: the version record was created 14 September 2026 and our own downloads page recorded it as IN_REVIEW on 3 October, so it cleared review between those dates. Universal purchase, so iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac share one product page and one subscription.
